You will receive a welcome email from Accurate Background advising that you have been invited to complete pre-employment / pre-volunteer screening. 

 

The email will contain an activation link for the Accel Platform. Click on this link and you will be taken to an account creation screen where you will be asked to create a password. 

 

For the password to be successfully created it needs to match all the below criteria - 

Password Requirements: 

  • At least 8 characters. 
  • Cannot be your full username or email 
    address. 
  • At least 1 uppercase letter 
  • At least 1 lowercase letter 
  • At least 1 number 
  • At least one special character (^ $ * . [](} () ? 
    -"!@#% & /,><' :; | _~ ) 
  • Cannot have more than two consecutive 
    characters repeated. 

 

Note: If you have double checked the password you are attempting to use to make sure that it meets all the security criteria listed above, and the password is still not being accepted, please reach out to our applicant support team on support.au@accurate.com 

 

On the next screen, after creating your account, click the "Get Started" button. The Accel platform will then guide you through the completion of your screening application.
